CrossSearch

CrossSearch is the latest addition to the University Library's range of services. CrossSearch represents a major advance in the Library's ability to provide information resources of the highest quality, targeted to individual needs, and delivered through an easy-to-understand, but powerful and flexible interface.

What is CrossSearch?

CrossSearch allows Library users to search up to ten information sources simultaneously. These sources can be:

Library users can search using pre-defined 'QuickSets', or can put together their own lists of favourite sources using the FlexiSearch option.

Other advantages of CrossSearch

You will find search boxes for CrossSearch on all the Resources for your subject pages, as well as on the Library home page itself. You can also install a search provider plugin on Internet Explorer or Firefox to give direct access to CrossSearch QuickSets from your browser.
