This Library is located on level 4 of the Matthew Building, Perth Road, Dundee.
The Matthew Building
Library resources
The Library holds a wide range of resources, including books, periodicals, newspapers and maps. Some resources (videos, DVDs and Blu-ray discs) are, for licensing reasons, only available to staff and students of this University. Many may be borrowed or they can be viewed in the Library. Information about the library's stock is available online, using the Library catalogue.
Current periodicals area
The Library also has 3 photocopiers (including one for colour) which are operated by cards bought from the desk or card-dispenser. There are guillotines and binding machines (heat-seal and spiral) for student use. Wireless access to the Internet is also available throughout the Library and there is a quiet study area. The Library also has a small IT suite of 6 networked PCs and Pay2Print.

Online resources
Access to many web based resources is available from PCs on campus (and sometimes off-campus). University of Dundee Library has subscriptions to many electronic books, journals and databases. They are generally only accessible to members of the University community, through the campus network. Journals in the fields of Art, Design and Architecture can be found through a journals search with CrossSearch.
Library study area
Access for mobility impaired users
A door to the right of the Main entrance steps to the Duncan of Jordanstone College, (the Crawford Building), allows access for wheelchair users, and for people with mobility problems. Please use door buzzer to alert staff. A short ramp leads to a corridor, and on the left, a lift giving access to level 4. From here there is level access to the Library in the Matthew building via a linking bridge. Disabled toilet facilities are on level 4 of the Crawford Building, just before you go across the bridge link to the Matthew Building.
