Disability Support Officers DSOs

DSOs are responsible for:

Supporting library users in accessing learning resources
Ensuring recommendations regarding extended library loan facilities are implemented
Disseminating information to staff in their department on all disability related issues

DSOs are Disability Services' first point of contact for any issues relating to a student who requires support in a specific area or School and are also a point of contact for a disabled student or member of staff requiring information or help. Each site library has a Disability Support Officer.
