This page is for the use of the University of Dundee Blackboard VLE administrators only.

Staff Assignments: Use the link below to enter a module code (the program will search for a unique part of that code and return the first match) for staff assignments to be adjusted. Enter the password (known only to faculty or departmental VLE administrators) and select Submit Module for Lookup. Edit the list of staff to be assigned to the module. The individual names may be network names, email addresses or staff ID number, and may be a mix of these. Select Submit Instructor Enrolments and the staff assignments in the VLE will be updated. This may take a few minutes. Any instructors who have not been located in the staff database (provided by Personnel through SITS) will be highlighted. To ensure staff can use the VLE they must be registered as University staff by their department through Personnel. An Associate Staff scheme exists if this is required.

Student Enrolments: Similar to staff assignments above, the link below allows students to be enrolled on non-SITS based modules. Staff can also be enrolled on VLE modules using this system. First enter the module then enter (or edit) the list of students (and or staff) who require to be enrolled. The list may be separated by commas, or one per line, or a mix and may be Network names, email addresses, or matriculation numbers.
