Accreditation of Prior Learning
It is worth noting that the School of Nursing and Midwifery has a comprehensive Accreditation for Prior Learning policy.
The accreditation of prior learning can follow three routes:
- The accreditation of prior certificated learning (APCL) where credit is awarded for previous certificated learning.
- The accreditation of prior experiential learning (APEL) where credit is awarded for previous experiential learning.
- A combination of the above (AP(E)L).
If you wish to apply for Accreditation of Prior Learning to gain advanced entry into a School of Nursing and Midwifery programme you should apply directly to the School of Nursing and Midwifery.
