Study Abroad

At undergraduate level Dundee Law School offers students the possibility of studying abroad in year 3 of their LLB programme, either for a semester or for the full academic year. The semester/year abroad is an integral part of the Dundee LLB and the marks obtained will count towards the final degree classification.

Students may choose between going to a Dundee European partner under the Erasmus scheme or to a University of Dundee partner institution in Asia.

In 2008, Dundee Law School and the University of Cergy Pontoise launched a joint LLM in International Commercial Law. Numbers are limited for entry onto this prestigious programme and students must apply for a place in advance of arrival. Successful applicants will spend 4 months in Cergy Pontoise (30 minutes from central Paris) in their second semester where they will follow commercial law courses taught through the medium of English.
