Biography
Pádraig McAuliffe is a graduate of University College Cork. In 2009, he was awarded his doctorate for his research on the Special Panels for Serious Crimes in East Timor. He held a visiting research fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles in 2007. From 2008 to 2009, Pádraig worked as a researcher in the Legal Division of the Irish Department of Foreign Affairs. In 2009 Pádraig was appointed to a lectureship in law at the University of Dundee. He is a contributor to the Oxford Reports on International Criminal Law and convenes the annual Scottish Early Careers Research Colloquium with Dr. Stephanie Switzer.

Padraig’s research interests are primarily in the fields of transitional justice and international criminal tribunals.
