The Joint Masters is a unique programme enabling students to study Private International Law from both common law and civilian perspectives, under the supervision of Professor Peter McEleavy at Dundee and Professor Sylvaine Peruzzetto at Toulouse.
The LLM can be taken both by students who have already studied private international law at undergraduate level as well as by those who are new to the subject, for the latter will be provided with additional instruction.
The Dundee programme has a single entry date each January. After an intensive induction week, including a reading party to the Burn country house in Edzell, students will choose two options from:

At the end of August students have a short break before going to Toulouse to undertake up to 4 modules from the following options:
Additionally an extended essay must be completed reviewing the subject of the Dundee dissertation in the light of the student's studies at UT1. This extended essay will be examined by staff at UT1.
Fees for 2011/2012: Home/EU students £4800 / Overseas students £10,000
