This module is delivered through seminars and independent research tasks and will have a minimum of 16 class contact hours. The method of assessment is 40% coursework and 60% written examination.
The overall aim of this course is to provide students with an understanding of the concept of sustainable development, why it has become such a popular notion, the problems it creates and how it can meaningfully be used in practice.
