Although the programme is primarily taught through a series of distance learning virtual modules, these are supplemented by a residential period to be held in Dundee, the focus of which is on the skills required for both the Negotiation and Mediation modules.
Should students opt for Stream 2, i.e. choose to follow the IDR programme entirely through Distance Learning, there will be no residential element. This pathway has an impact on the certificates issued by Mediation Scotland upon successful completion of the Negotiation and Mediation modules.
