Accredited Modules

CiArb Logo

International Commercial Arbitration.

Dundee Law School has secured external recognition from professional bodies for three of the modules in the programmes. This brings significant additional benefits to those who graduate from the programmes. The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators has awarded Recognised Course Provider status to the module in International Commercial Arbitration. Successful completion of this module will permit those who already have passes in Evidence, Contract and Delict (usually standard with an LLB degree) to apply for Membership of the CIArb and thus exemption from their examinations at Associateship and Membership levels.

Should there be sufficient demand, applicants who have not taken Evidence and Obligation might be able to do so as part of the IDR programme. Please contact the Postgraduate Secretary, Mrs Fiona Clark at law-idr@dundee.ac.uk
