The modules will be delivered by a combination of student workbooks and on-line support via a software package called 'Blackboard VLE' (Virtual Learning Environment). This allows you to access all the materials and assignments you need for this programme on-line from your own PC, whether at work or at home.
You will also have access to each of the University's nine libraries. Students are also permitted to use many other universities' libraries (via the UK 'Libraries Plus' System).

There is also the opportunity to discuss aspects of the programme with other students by using Blackboard's on-line discussion facilities.
There will generally be four formative and two summative assessments in each module. The formative assessments give you feedback on progress but do not count towards your final mark. More details are in the prospectus.
