Voice Coaching Session at Dundee Rep

(2012-12-05)

Diploma in Professional Legal Practice Students participated in a Voice Workshop at Dundee Rep on 25th October led by Suzi Morrice, Head of Creative Learning at the theatre.  The session explored effective harnessing of vocal power and was designed to enhance advocacy and presentation skills of participants.

Suzi commented "It was a pleasure to welcome the Diploma students into the Rep and to explore the power of voice with them as they go forward into legal practice with its focus on advocacy and the ability to present effectively.  Their willingness to explore their creative identity was inspiring and clearly demonstrates how motivated and enthusiastic they are as a course and as individuals."

Insights Event

(2012-12-05)

Dundee Diploma students enjoyed a morning session with personal development company Insights on Monday 5th November. Insights have grown from their inception in Dundee twenty years ago to a global group who count Brightsolid, Jamie Oliver's Fifteen and the Danish FA amongst their many clients.

The session explored personality traits and group working and each student received an in-depth Personal Profile from the Company to take away created by their completion of an online evaluator before the session.  The event was very successful in creating a sense of self awareness amongst the group and hopefully planted useful seeds for future personal development.
