The Law Society of Scotland is committed to supporting students throughout the route to qualifying as solicitor. We run events and initiatives throughout the year for new lawyers including students and would be delighted in you were keen to be involved. In particular if you have not yet secured a traineeship and wish to be kept informed of ways to keep involved with the legal professional and come along to our bespoke events please do get in touch. This is our only way of communicating with you and it’s so important you do keep in touch so you can be informed of opportunities and initiatives that may interest you. The Scottish Client Consultation Competition was held at Dundee University in January 2012. The winners of the internal competition, Emma Johnson and Hannah Sproat, represented the Law School at the National Competition hosted by Dundee University on 13 January 2012 when seven Scottish Diploma teams competed over two rounds, with Glasgow being the eventual winners.
