Erasmus exchanges for language students
We encourage all our students to take part in Erasmus exchanges of either one semester or one year during their third year of study. Normally, students should have completed Practical German 2 / French 2 / or Spanish 2 before they embark on their study abroad.
Some of the partner universities are : Freiburg, Münster, Dresden, Hamburg (Germany), Salzburg (Austria), Granada , Burgos (Spain), Toulouse, Grenoble, Lille, Versailles (France) as well study opportunities in Denmark, Sweden, Poland, The Netherlands, depending on your degree subject combination. Please check the University's ERASMUS webpage and with your subject lecturers for uptodate information.
We hold an information event for language students, normally at the beginning of semester 2, e.g in January. Please check the ERASMUS notice board. There will also be a number of Humanities based information events.
Your study abroad will have to be approved by your main subject co-ordinators and the ERASMUS co-ordinator.
If you have any further questions please contact your language lecturer or the ERASMUS co-ordinator, Marion Spöring.
