THE TRANSATLANTIC STUDIES ASSOCIATION CONFERENCE

2008 Transatlantic Studies Association Conference

The 2008 Transatlantic Studies Association Conference will be held at the West Park Conference Centre, Dundee University, Dundee on 7-10 July 2008. Plenary speakers include -


Kathleen Burk, University College London, Britain, America and War in the 20th Century; Serge Ricard, University of Paris III, Theodore Roosevelt: Imperialist or Global Strategist in the New Expansionist Age?; and Bruce Jentleson, Duke University, ‘The Atlantic Alliance in a Post-American World.
Featured events include a civic wine reception and welcome from the Depute Lord Provost of Dundee, the Routledge wine reception with jazz trio, piping and a display of Highland dancing, the formal TSA dinner, and the opportunity to sample some of the finest Scotch malt Whisky.
