THE TRANSATLANTIC STUDIES ASSOCIATION
Aims and Scope
The aims and scope of the Transatlantic Studies Association are:
- to provide focus for transatlantic area studies and bring together scholars from different disciplines in order to further research and understanding of transatlantic relations;
- to nurture research networks and disseminate research outputs in an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary environment;
- to generate momentum and support for The Journal of Transatlantic Studies;
- to provide a forum that will bring together academics with officials and specialists from other professions;
- The Association will embrace all aspects of transatlantic studies in all time periods.
2008 Transatlantic Studies Association Conference
The 2008 Transatlantic Studies Association Conference will be held at the West Park Conference Centre,
Dundee University, Dundee, on July 7-10 2007. Conference details including the Call for Papers can be seen here.
Transatlantic Studies Association Newsletter
The TSA Newsletter comes out once per year, and is edited by David Ryan, Senior Lecturer in History at University College Cork, Ireland.
