what a treat for your body, mind and soul.  the new massage@ise service could be just what you’re looking for.  check out the treatments below, and what they’re for.  if you’re still unsure what to go for, you can discuss what would be best for you in your first session with the therapist.

Remedial or Sports massage
used as a preventative or post-injury treatment to ensure the muscles, tendons and ligaments are well-balanced, relaxed and relieved of stiffness.

Swedish massage
the main form of traditional massage and uses long gliding strokes, kneading and friction techniques. used to promote enhanced wellbeing.

relaxation, improved circulation, increased mobility, reduce muscle tension.

Reflexology
uses gentle application of pressure to specific reflex points on the feet.  the reflex points reflect the state of our health. the treatment can be beneficial to relieving stress and restoring energy and can be applied to the feet or hands.

Integrated Myofascial Release
myofascial release feels past muscle and bone into the 3D human fascial web, treating the cause and not the symptom. fascia surrounds protects and infuses every other tissue, tendon, ligament, muscle and organ of the body. In healthy conditions, the fascial system is relaxed and wavy in structure, providing cushioning and support to the body. this treatment uses gentle sustained pressure applied to the body to allow the fascia to elongate, relax naturally and restore physical health.
