24 Hour Mikado |
|||
Pictured: Rehearsals began on a Friday night and 24 hours later the music societies staged a spectacular performance of the Mikado. Graeme Stevenson, Music Co-ordinator at the University of Dundee staged a clock beating production of the Mikado over one weekend in October 2001. Graeme said: "The 24 hour Mikado was our most ambitious musical project in the University yet but I think it was a great way to get people involved in music and show them what fun it is to be involved with the music society. It was a great success and we actually pulled it off in 24 hours." Musical first years at the University of Dundee experienced a baptism of fire, as this was their first involvement with the Music Society. Related Information |
