Shahbaz Majeed
Web Developer
Shahbaz develops database driven applications and backends for websites and specialises in MySQL and PHP. He is also involved in developing the Content Management System used by the University website(s).

Biographical information: After graduating from the University of Dundee in 2003 with BSc Honours in Applied Computing, Shahbaz worked as an IT Officer in the Residences Office at the University to manage student IT connections in University accommodation alongside the IT Manager. In 2008, he moved from the Residences Office to work with Web Development. Shahbaz is a also a keen photographer and is on the Dundee Photographic Society Council.

Caroline Petrie
Service Coordinator
Caroline has a very varied role - she acts as a first point of contact, provides support to web authors across the University, looks after our domain name service and financial transactions, and implements web designs and content. She also advises on website navigation and structure, organises our web courses, and runs one-to-one training sessions.

Biographical information: Before joining Web Development in August 2002, Caroline worked in Press & Publications as Secretary/Web Administrator. She published and designed web pages for a range of internal publications including DENIS, the Media Guide, the Annual Report, and Contact and GC Magazines. Prior to working at the University Caroline came to us from Zimbabwe and has worked previously as a Travel Consultant. She has travelled extensively around California, South Africa and Europe.

Erica Waters
Web Developer
Erica graduated in 2006 with a First Class Honours degree in Web Design and Development from the University of Abertay Dundee. She is developing and integrating the new CMS as well as development and implementation of new websites and updating existing websites. She specialises in the use of php and xml to enhance websites.
