Accessibility Statement

The University of Dundee is committed to providing accessible information on its website. This web page summarises accessibility enhancements made to the site and known accessibility problems.

Accessibility Enhancements

Access Keys

Access keys have been implemented on most central websites. Access keys enable quick access to important information. Find out more about the access keys used at the University of Dundee.

Compliance with Accessibility Standards

We always try to ensure that our web pages comply with at least Priority One Checkpoints as issued by the Web Accessibility Initiative. We run free web accessibility workshops periodically for our web authors and produce weekly accessibility reports identifying potential problems on the various websites.

We are investigating how to further improve the accessibility of websites and have commissioned a series of web accessibility reports from the Digital Media Access Group.

Text Only Version

A text-only version of the site is provided using the Betsie text-only parser from the BBC. To use this facility, please follow the 'text only' link from the top right of each page or use Access Key 6.

Consistent Navigation

Most central web pages use similar navigation and page structure. Site specific navigation may be found on the left-hand side of pages, with University-wide navigation at the top of pages. Every page should have a link to the department homepage, from where a link to the University homepage should be available.
