Software installation questions

I have installed VirusScan Enterprise and now some of my networked applications no longer work properly

This is due to the new version of software installing port blocking software that blocks a number of ports (25, and 6666 - 6669) on the installed system. Known applications so far are Aleph port 25 and Ghost Console 6666, 6667.

To allow your application to use these ports: -

The documentation that comes with your application may provide you with the relevant port numbers used, otherwise it's a case of trial and error adding the applications process to the correct port blocking rule.
