To place an order for a Mobile Phone Contract please complete the order form (rtf - 446KB) which should be printed, signed by the budget holder and either faxed or sent through internal mail to ICS-Reception. Alternatively the form can be e-mailed attached as a Word Document to the Service Desk at ics-servicedesk@dundee.ac.uk. Please do not follow up a Word attachment with the original by mail as this may lead to duplication of the order.
Please Note: the order may be delayed if required fields are not completed fully including valid account codes and authorised signature.
Important Information
ICS supplies mobile phones from Orange on Public Sector Tariffs. There are two choices of Tariff but we generally recommend Public Sector Tariff 1b as this includes handset insurance. Your department is entering into a contractual obligation on the tariff you choose and no upgrades are available within the life of the contract (currently two years).

Below are three options. Please choose the option that relates to your enquiry:
Once you have been registered with Orange you will be sent login details for the Orange website. You will receive an email directly from Orange each month telling you when your new bill is ready to view. When you login to Orange you will be able to view your monthly bills.
If you have queries with any charges please contact ICS Service Desk who will arrange for the dispute to be raised with Orange.
If you lose your mobile:
Step1: Contact the police. You must report the loss to the police within 24 hours to obtain a crime reference number. Without this action the insurance will be invalid, you will lose your claim for warranty and you may also be liable for the replacement cost of the phone.
Step 2: Call Orange on 07973100158 to have the mobile number barred; the device can be disabled and your data wiped clean remotely. You will be asked for the cime reference number.
Step 3: Notify ICS promptly:
By phone: Contact ICS Service Desk on (01382 3)88000. You will be asked for the crime reference number.
Online: Use our online enquiry form or Help4U self-service portal
How long does the contract warranty last?
The contract warranty on any mobile phone purchased through ICS is three years. However, it is the users' responsibilty to be aware of when the phone contract expires and the phone is no longer under warranty
When travelling abroad, it is advisable to add a data roaming bundle to help reduce the cost of calls. If this is requested, state how many megabytes is required and whether it is for European or Gobal use. Email ics-servicedesk@dundee.ac.uk giving your mobile number and dates of travel. You must make your request a few days before travel to ensure the bundle will be successfully attached. Data bundle options and related costs can be found in the Orange Tariffs Price List.
From 1st July 2012, Orange reduced their roaming costs in line with EU price cap regulations.
For further details or assistance with the completion of the mobile phone order form please email ICS Service Desk or telephone: (01382 3)88000.
