How do I get my IT account?

  As an Applicant

  • Step 1 - Letter from Admissions: this will include your Applicant login and password information in detail.
    •  Access will be limited to the University email system (internal only) and Virtual Learning Environment, My Dundee.
  • Step 2 - Activate: At Applicant stage you must activate  your account first before being able to use the Password Management Portal.

    Not an Applicant

    • If you are not classed as an Applicant, your username and initial password may be sent or given to you when you arrive, depending on what you are studying.

    At matriculation

    • Register: full access to the University's IT facilities and systems is automatic after matriculation.
    • Logging on: As a student the username and password will be the same as the ones you used as an Applicant.
