Which is the most secure way of accessing my files?
Both browser and WebDAV access use a secure connection so passwords and file data cannot be read as it passes over the Internet.
In contrast, FTP is insecure, and file data and passwords can be read as they pass over the Internet. For this reason FTP should only be used a last resort.
Why does just putting netstore.dundee.ac.uk straight into a web browser not work?
