General Questions

How do I print my work using the Pay2Print credit system?

All ICS IT Suites, and some other departmental IT facilities, offer printing facilities that use the Pay2Print credit account system. To use the Pay2Print service you must first buy some print credits. Each user`s account is held securely on the eDirectory. Staff and students can purchase credits online, using most debit and credit cards, on the Pay2Print website The system offers cash machines as a back up payment route but online payment is preferred.

Who can use the Pay2Print print credit account system?

Anyone with a University of Dundee student, Teaching (-T) or Visitor account can logon to an IT Suite PC or use Pay2Print Wireless and print using their available print credits.

Other departments may also offer printing facilities using the Pay2Print scheme.

How do I use Pay2Print facilities?

Guidance on how to use ICS black and white or colour printing facilities can be found at all IT Suites print release stations and ICS Service Desk.

New for 2010 - The system now supports wireless printing using UoD WiFi and the Pay2Print system.

Some schools or departments may offer different ways of using and paying for printing; information about this may be obtained directly from your school or department.

What type of printing service is available?

All IT Suites have, A4 black and white laser printers. All black and white laser printers are set to print on both sides by default.

Colour printing is available in the Tower Basement and on all levels of the Library & Learning Centre. Colour printers will print single-sided by default and will also print A4 or A3 size.
