Outlook using a Windows PC

If you are planning to use the Microsoft Outlook client on your Windows PC to access dMail you must go through an installation process. These instructions will help you configure the Outlook client.

Before configuring Outlook, we recommend making sure you can sign in using web access from your browser.

Accessing dMail via the Outlook client

If you are using the SOE

Once you have requested access to the Outlook installation via ICS Service Desk you will find an application to install the Outlook 2007 client on your start menu under “Internet and Communications”. 

Note you will need at sufficient free disk space to run this installation – if you do not have enough, the icon will not appear.

The guide below will help you install Outlook 2007 on a Staff SOE machine. You will need to follow this guide each time you use a new machine.
