Download Store (Microsoft) - Now Open
ICS now provides access to Microsoft © licensed software for staff to use on PCs and Laptops on campus and at home.

How do I download software?
Microsoft© licensed software can be downloaded directly from the VLE.
To download:
- Log into https://my.dundee.ac.uk
- Under 'My Group and Communities' select 'ICS Download Store (Microsoft).'
- To begin downloading software select Downloads on the left panel.
- The screen will then show a list of software to download.

How do I create an install disk?
To install the downloaded software on your PC you will need to create an install disk. To do this:
- Login to My Dundee at https://my.dundee.ac.uk
- Under 'My Group and Communities' select 'ICS Download Store (Microsoft).'
- Select Help from the menu.
- The Help section will provide you with the information you need to create an install disk.
What Microsoft software is available to download?
Examples of available software include:
- Windows 7 Enterprise
- Windows XP
- Office XP
- Office 2003
- Office 2007
- MAC Office
Why can I not see the ICS Download Store (Microsoft)?
Due to Microsoft© licensing arrangements some staff groups are not included, these are:
- Visitors
- Associate Staff
- Guest Lecturers
- Honorary Academic Staff
- Part -Time Manual Staff
- Maintenance Staff
- Service Staff
- Part-time Staff
However, if you are not in one of the above groups you should have access to the ICS Download Store (Microsoft) through My Dundee. Please contact the ICS Service Desk at ics-servicedesk@dundee.ac.uk
