PhD Studentships

The English Programme invites applications for two full-time PhD Studentships funded by the School of Humanities, University of Dundee. These provide for a partial tuition fee waiver of £1,500 per year and a £4,000 bursary for each year (amounting to £16,500 over the three years of full-time study).*

The profile of research-led study in the English Programme is very wide, and incorporates Film Studies and Comics and Graphic Novel Studies alongside traditional English topics. Applicants are invited to view the English staff web-pages to review the research areas being pursued within the Programme.

How to apply

Candidates should hold a first degree at undergraduate level (2.1) and should normally also hold a masters degree. To apply for the research studentship at the University of Dundee please complete the application forms, which are available here:
