hermeneutica scotia promotes research into hermeneutical thought whether in philosophy, theology, aesthetics, classics or literary theory.
It supports the study of hermeneutics across both Scotland and Great Britain and has affiliations with similar research groups in Europe and North America.
hermeneutica scotia holds an annual conference and will make papers and book reviews available on line.

hermeneutica scotia will hold an annual meeting which will be open to all with an interest in hermeneutics.
Next meeting
The first meeting will be held on November 2009.
Guest Speaker: Prof. Ben Vedder, University of Nijmegen.
Venue: The University of Dundee
Date: 13th November.
hermeneutica scotia: Conference Papers
hermeneutica scotia will place its conference papers on line for a period of six months after its annual meeting.
Papers will peer reviewed and subject to comments from an Advisory Board.
Book reviews will also be available.
