This interdisciplinary MSc programme offered by CEPMLP is unique in its content, design and delivery. This programme is appropriate for economists and non-economists who intend to develop analytical, problem solving and evaluation skills to analysing real-world issues facing the energy sector internationally.
Focus is on key policy issues relating to the exploitation, trade, processing and consumption of energy and provides a thorough understanding of the economics of energy supply, demand and policy.
Emphasis is on developing analytical, problem-solving and evaluation skills, as well as the ability to apply economic methods to analysing real-world issues.
These degrees will provide for career development as an economist or analyst in the energy, natural resources or financial sectors.
The Centre continues to grow and expand its portfolio of taught postgraduate courses with the development of an MSc in Water Policy and Science which will be recruiting in 2010. This will be of particular interest to individuals interested in:
