The CEPMLP programmes are aimed at professionals operating in an international environment and are designed to attract and qualify professionals working in such an environment relating to the global economy.

Course Content

The CEPMLP strand is concerned with the international energy and natural resources sectors, including legal and fiscal regimes, regulatory frameworks, and general and specific transactions.

Career opportunities

This provides an excellent interdisciplinary preparation for legal, managerial or international business transactions advisory positions where a conceptual background, analytic capability, and familiarity with the main concepts, institutions and forms of transnational business transactions and their regulatory framework are all essential.

UNESCO Centre

The UNESCO Centre delivers two LLM programmes, both available to students from law or non-law backgrounds.

Course Content

The UNESCO Centre programmes are unique in providing modules in all aspects of water law (international treaty law; national law and regulation; and the governance of water and sanitation services) as well as a wide range of options in natural resources law, policy and economics. In cooperation with UNESCO - IHE Delft it is possible to focus on water governance and its legal, policy, managerial and scientific issues.

Career Opportunities

The aim of these programmes is to educate the water leaders of the future at a time when water resources are under increasing pressure and it is being recognised that water resources experts must be familiar with a range of relevant disciplines to address future world water challenges.
