UNESCO Centre

The Centre is uniquely qualified to provide advisory services in international and national water law, policy and science.

It has consistently applied an interdisciplinary approach to identifying and responding to water resources management issues and has been instrumental in making law an integral part of this process.

The Centre has a substantial track record in the design and implementation of international and national water law legal and institutional frameworks, instruments and programmes throughout the world.

A key objective of the Centre's international activities is to enhance local human and institutional capacity.
