THE PRACTICE

We are a seven doctor Practice with four full-time partners, one part-time partner (60%), and two job-share partners who each work 50% of a full-time post.

We operate from a purpose-built health centre owned by Forth Valley Primary Care Trust which was built in 1987. Our list size of almost 9000 affords an average net remuneration.

The Practice provides a full range of GMS and non-GMS services including Well Woman Clinics, Well Man Clinics, Travel Clinics, Immunisation Clinics, Baby Clinics, Eneuresis Clinics, Hypertension, Diabetes, Asthma and Ischaemic Heart Disease Clinics. We also provide Acupuncture Clinics.

We have three Practice Nurses, two part-time who provide full treatment room cover and one full-time who is responsible for all the health promotion clinics.

Our Practice Manager is supported by an administrative team consisting of an Assistant Practice Manager, one part-time Secretary and four full-time and two part-time Receptionists.

We share our premises with community staff, five district nurses, two health visitors and a school nurse. Our community midwife, who also covers the nearby Bridge of Allan Health Centre, runs weekly antenatal clinics on the premises. In addition, there are regular weekly clinics run by a local psychiatrist, twice weekly counselling sessions by a CPN and a comprehensive physiotherapy and chiropody service.
