ESRC Festival of Social Science: The Changing Face of Scotland

As part of the ESRC Festival of Social Science this event will explore demographic change and patterns of migration within Scotland and how this is likely to impact on necessary service provision. Participants will hear the latest evidence from a range of academic experts who will consider the economic, social and cultural implications from the perspective of fertility, migration, and longevity. There will also be interactive demonstrations of SCROL and Scottish Neighbourhood Statistics providing participants with practical guidance on how to use and apply available population data.
