Aspects of hydrology and water resource management are covered in this module and include a look at the issues of flooding, climate change and hazards. - Concepts and Techniques

A look at the global flows of labour migrants and refugees, including links between international migration, urbanisation and UK immigration policy. - Research Methods and Field Skills
Core module for Single Honours and BSc Joint Honours students. Runs every year. - Geographical Information Systems
This module introduces the principles and applications of GIS, including data entry, management, analysis and includes environmental and social problem solving. Runs every year. - Geographies of Power
This module investigates how power and politics connect to space, place, territories and borders. It also looks at the political geographies of the 'War on Terror' and how forms of political protest make use of spatial tactics. - Cities: Places, People and Conflict

- Geography Dissertation
This module is a chance for students to undertake a research project of their choice and writing this up as a 10,000 word report with the aid of one-to-one supervision. Runs every year. - Advanced Hydrology & Water Resources
Aspects of hydrology and water resource management are covered in this module and include a look at the issues of flooding, climate change and hazards. Coursework assessed by a series of independent numerical assignments. - Advanced Population Geography

A module that examines issues of sediment supply, including soil erosion and control, sediment fingerprinting and the movement of sediment within rivers. - Critical Reading and Review Essay
