The
EastRen budget has been cut substantially for 2006/2007.
EastRen will still be able to offer a few bursaries in August, November and
January, and may have further money available for March depending on the level
of expenditure in other essential lines of the budget.
Inevitably, this will make the process more competitive than in previous years, and only applications of the highest quality will be supported. All applications that score above the cut off point can be considered for funding. If there is not enough money available at that particular meeting, high scoring applications will be held over until March, with the consent of the applicants, to enter the competitive process for the budget remaining at the end of the financial year.
Applications
are for pump priming work, highly likely to attract external eligible funding,
in the future, from research teams including at least one primary care professional.
