City Campus

Car parking facilities on the main city campus are available to all members of staff, subject to the annual purchase of a permit. A limited number of permits are issued to students on a needs basis. Applications for student parking are available during matriculation week and spaces are normally allocated very quickly.

Visitors to the University main city campus must have a Visitors permit. Visitors permits can be obtained from either the Tower Reception desk (building 1, on main city campus) or from the Department arranging the visit.

Frequent inspections are made of parking areas and vehicles not displaying a valid parking sticker will incur a fine of £30 per day (October 2011).

You will find more information about:

on the Estates & Buildings Car Parking information pages. You may also contact Jenny Anderson (email j.a.z.anderson@dundee.ac.uk, phone extension 84710) for further information.

Please note: if you have purchased a permit for the year, but would rather travel in by alternative means a refund can be made.

Ninewells Campus

Car Parking for students and visitors to Ninewells Hospital & Medical School is on a pay-as-you-leave basis, although there is a free car park some distance from the main entrance. Permits are available to staff on the payment of an annual fee - ask your department for further information.

Kirkcaldy Campus

There are two car parking areas at the Kirkcaldy Campus. The main car park can be entered via Forth Avenue and the second via Whyte Melville Road. There are over 150 parking spaces available to students and staff at no charge. See Kirkcaldy Campus Map.
