The University has arranged several transport solutions for travelling between campuses and have set up a Journey Planner in the foyer of the Tower Building (building 1, main city campus) to help find the most suitable public transport.
Find out more about our local Transport facilities:
The Travel Dundee web site includes a map of the city centre and a bus network map and a Journey Planner [external website] showing some of the above bus routes. There is also a Journey Planner kiosk in the Tower Foyer (building 1 on main city campus map). The site also includes details of service changes and ticket prices. Remember that there are various bus pass schemes operated by the bus companies, including flexi-cards and season tickets. You can find out more by visiting the Travel Centre at 95 Commerical Street, or from a post office.
City buses operate an EXACT FARE pay-as-you-enter system. The buses come regularly (10 to 20 minutes) during daytime. Last buses leave the City Centre about 2315 hrs on most routes.
For further information about transport in Dundee, including Rail Travel and access to an online rail journey planner, refer to the Travel Information page on the main University web site. Rail is the easiest way to reach the Kirkcaldy Campus in Fife.
