Your best opportunity to make contact with the societies is to drop in on the Freshers' Fayre, held annually at the beginning of the Autumn Term, but you can also make contact via the Students' Association.

The best opportunity to find out about the clubs is at the Sports Fayre, held annually at the beginning of the Autumn term. You can also contact the Sports Union, located in the DUSA Building, for club information, membership details, or to make contact with a sports club.

Staff Clubs
University staff can join both student societies and sports clubs, but there are also staff clubs including:

Normally students of the University and other related institutions are also welcome to join staff clubs.
Tayforth University Officer Training Corps
Tayforth is the Contingent of the Officer Training Corps (the OTC) which covers the Universities of Dundee, Abertay, Stirling and St Andrews. Some have described it as a cross between an outward bound course and a management training scheme. It offers the chance to see the modern armed services, train in a variey of military skills and, if desired, work towards a Commission as an Officer in either the Regular or Territorial Army. Some Clubs & Societies in Dundee
There are many clubs and societies in Dundee, ranging from the Kupso Tuit Association (martial arts) and the Townswomen's Guild, to the Dundee Repertory Theatre Club. A full list of local organisations is provided by Dundee City Council.
Web Space for Clubs
The University wishes to encourage and support an active community of clubs and societies. Both clubs and societies can apply for their own web space on the University's webserver in order to publicise their activities.
