We're pleased to announce that the following are winners of our first ever video competition:
Congratulations to all of our prize winners! Standards were high and it was a tough - but enjoyable - task to pick the winners.

I'm a mature student with a passion for video production. This year I've been studying Video and Audio Production and next year will study Media Analysis. I'm currently working in a local factory but hoping to change direction and move into the videography field.
The Search came about after the competition was brought to my attention by one of my lecturers. After thinking it over for a while I came up with the idea of focusing the story on The Deep Sea as this is a personal favourite of mine (I'm traditional when it comes to fast food) and it's a bit of a local legend!
Until recently, I was a member of staff at Dundee, supporting students with their use of computers and their learning of Information and Communication Technologies. Through my work, I developed a keen interest in capturing and recording action shots of student activities.
This short clip begins with a glimpse of the attractive City Campus learning environment, portraying Dundee as a place of learning as well as the individual's journey of self discovery through study and the life long memories formed along the way.
I'm a 20 year old Architecture student, originally from Glasgow. I've just finished my 3rd year of Architecture and am about to start my professional year out which I hope to do in Australia. I love to travel and take photographs of everywhere I go.
My video is the product of a University group project, in which single frozen scenes were merged together to create an animation effect.
I came to Dundee as a student in 2001 and have enjoyed living here ever since. In 2008 I bought a rather nice sports car and that was the inspiration for my video. I wanted to show Dundee from the perspective that I see it driving around in my lovely car :) I'd like to point out that the camera was attached to the air vent - it wasn't me pulling some rather dodgy manoeuvres and holding it while driving!
