Curriculum, Pedagogy and Assessment Research Network
Vision
The Curriculum, Pedagogy and Assessment Research Network at the University of Dundee is an inter-disciplinary and cross-university research network which has been established in order to enhance research quality, increase research quantity and extend research impact in the field of education. The focus for the group is curriculum in its broadest sense; that is, the beliefs and values which underpin curricular decisions, as well as processes of teaching, learning and assessment.
Aims
The Curriculum, Pedagogy and Assessment Research Network aims to:
- provide a forum for scholarly debate on Curriculum, Pedagogy and Assessment, whether in relation to schools, teacher education or higher education more generally
- provide a focal point for further developing the community of active researchers in the area of Curriculum, Pedagogy and Assessment
- contribute to the advancement of the knowledge base on Curriculum, Pedagogy and Assessment and to the sustainability and vitality of related educational research locally, nationally and internationally
- contribute to teaching and programme development by having a positive impact on scholarship in teaching and learning across a range of disciplines at the University of Dundee

The work of the network is currently organised around two main themes:

- Curriculum, Pedagogy and Assessment in Teacher Education
Current Projects
- Global Citizenship in Primary Schools. This three-year project has been funded by the Department of International Development (DfID).
- Curriculum for Excellence and Teacher Voice.
- Reflective Writing and Student Development.
