The Centre for Research and Innovation in Teaching and Learning (CRITAL) is an inter-disciplinary and cross-university research centre. It is hosted by the School of ESWCE in partnership with the School of Computing, Centre for Medical Education and the College of Life Sciences School of Teaching and Learning.
The work of the Centre is organised around six thematic research networks which are open to both active and emerging researchers:
The Centre is overseen by a Board with representatives from across the university. The Director of the Centre is Professor Brian Hudson who also convenes the CRITAL Board which includes Professor Divya Jindal-Snape (ESWCE), Professor David Miller (ESWCE), Professor Yolande Muschamp (ESWCE), Professor Charlotte Rees (Centre for Medical Education), Dr. Nick Hine (School of Computing), Professor David Coates (Deputy Principal for Learning and Teaching), Dr Rola Ajawi (Centre for Medical Education) and Dr Elizabeth Lakin (College of Life Sciences).
