M.Sc. in Educational Psychology

Assessment

There are no traditional written examinations. All assessment is continuous and culminates in inspection by the Board of Examiners of the evidence of your performance over the two years of the programme.

Trainees are summatively assessed on the basis of the following:

There is also a strong emphasis on Trainee self-assessment. Trainees are required to keep a Personal Learning Plan, in which they identify and monitor individual targets related to particular skills or bodies of knowledge. These are reviewed in regular appraisal meetings. Trainees must satisfy examiners internal and external to the University in all respects to be awarded the M.Sc. The programme itself is evaluated by Trainees and trainers as well as external bodies.
