Peter Wakefield

Biography

Peter is a graduate of the University of Dundee (1977). Following graduation Peter completed the PGDE and the Dip Ed. He then spent 8 years as a Primary School classroom teacher before being promoted to a Head Teacher role. In 1990 Peter was appointed as a lecturer in the Social Studies Department of Northern College of Education with a specialism in geographical education and the Theory and Practice of Education. Peter joined the University of Dundee in 2001 when Northern College merged with the University of Dundee.

During his time with Northern College and later with the University of Dundee Peter has undertaken several roles:
