
Moira Glencorse is currently a part-time tutor on the Teaching Qualification (Further Education) programme with candidates at PG and UG level. She also works on a consultancy basis for FE colleges providing support for lecturing staff undertaking professional development awards and developing staff expertise in self-evaluation to improve the quality of learning and teaching. She previously spent many years in the further education sector as a lecturer, senior lecturer, head of department, quality of learning and teaching manager and director of curriculum, and had first hand experience of the many changes and the challenges which faced Scotland's colleges. Alongside these college roles Moira worked with external partners in a number of capacities.
As a member of the TQ(FE) team which developed and implemented TQFE-Tutor in Session 2010-11, the team were successful in winning two University of Dundee awards:
