Following a Scottish Government announcement, more Scottish teachers will be able to benefit from Masters level study.
The University of Dundee has written to current and former students who are eligible to access funding to support higher quality learning for teachers.
In the initial phase of this project, the offer will be made to teachers currently or recently registered for a masters level qualification with a Chartered Teacher provider or school of education at a university.
Those current or former students that have achieved 60 credits or more at Masters level from Chartered Teacher programmes and/or university school of education Masters programmes and are a fully registered teacher working in a local authority school, or local authority education department or Scottish Government grant maintained or grant aided school may be eligible for funding. Eligibility is not means tested and elibile candidates are required to register their interest by 14 December 2012.
