Child Exploitation: Legal Responses to New Challenges in Child Protection

Child exploitation is a phenomenon with no boundaries. Increasingly it has a global presence on the internet and in underground activities in all countries, including Scotland. This multi-disciplinary conference aims to update all professionals who are concerned about child protection with the latest developments in research and practice.

The key aims of the day are:

To enable multi-disciplinary discussions on a problem that has no disciplinary boundaries
To engage participants in high level debate with acknowledged experts
To inform participants about new challenges posed by child exploitation
To inform participants about new laws to support child protection

This is a collaborative project between the Schools of Law and of Education, Social Work and Community Education.

Cost: Full day, £60 (book by 1st July for early bird registration: £50)
