Links with Learning and Teaching Scotland - Neil Taylor

Neil Taylor has been seconded to Learning and Teaching Scotland for a fixed term period as a national Development Officer.

Neil's role is to identify and develop effective learning teaching strategies and curriculum support materials to assist teachers of Physics deliver the new Higher Physics qualification which is being introduced as a result of the major national education development: Curriculum for Excellence.

As a result of Neil being involved in this secondment he will engage in a number of other national developments such as the Scottish Survey of Achievement, the Assessment is for Learning programme, Wider Achievement and others. The insights gained from these experiences will enhance his practice and professional development and inform fellow Initial Teacher Education lecturers of national developments.
