Remit

Oversee the management of the School;
Oversee staffing and resourcing of programmes;
Create, implement and monitor the School strategic plan;
Maintain good links to professional and accrediting bodies;
Oversee promotional/marketing events and materials;
Monitor recruitment and retention targets;
Ensure a high quality learning experience for students;
Oversee quality assurance, including programme approval and review;
Provide a structure whereby support staff can provide an efficient and effective administration of School activity;
Promote new developments in the School and across the College;
Develop research/teaching linkages across the School;
Promote staff development across the School;
Oversee staff career development and review, in line with University policy.
