School Learning & Teaching and Recruitment Committee
Remit
Reporting to School Board, the role of School Learning & Teaching and Recruitment Committee is:
- To promote the College and School strategy in programme innovation and development;
- To develop a strategic approach to knowledge sharing and best practices with teaching and supervision;
- To provide a platform for Programme Boards to showcase best practice across the School;
- To consider information relating to the continued development and future growth of programmes, such as market research and competitor data, feedback from students and employers, etc;
- To develop and monitor the School recruitment and retention strategy, within the context of the College Learning & Teaching Strategy;
- To implement within the College framework, policies and criteria within which all modules and programmes are required to operate;
- To implement and develop approaches to the College postgraduate strategy and activity.
